You may notice that you are invited to assume a specific role on a project. For example, you may be asked to be the Videographer/DP while there's a separate Video Editor.
This feature is currently in Beta! If you see and use it, we welcome any and all feedback by email to support@studionow.com or by ticket (click “support” in the bottom right hand corner of this screen).
Here are a few examples of when a client might hire multiple creators on the same project:
- It’s a larger production project with many hands involved working together.
- The client needs different skillsets for the various stages or components of production.
How to know what role you are invited for:
The roles you are invited for will be listed in your email invitation, but you can also see them on your "Creative Details" tab of the project. Any role you are invited to apply for will be listed in your "Key Details" section. If you are selected for the role, you'll see "Assigned to You" next to it.
If you have doubts or questions about what specifically your role is responsible for on the project, please ask the StudioNow producer or the client on your project, depending on whether you have a producer's support or not (see here for how to tell the difference).
You can also see what other roles are on the project at the top of your "Creative Details" tab.
Coming soon: the ability to collaborate with other creators on your project and exchange assets to create the final result for the client!
